My MagicaVoxel Resources

(UPDATED: November 1, 2014)

Because of my MagicaVoxel work, I figured I'd devote this one entire page to MagicaVoxel. This page features my work- even my development material. This is a chance for you to follow my work and see what I'm up to as I use this program. I also want to provide some material to give MagicaVoxel a bit more exposure. I don't have the very best material people will look up, but I'm doing what I can to provide more resources on it rather than just leave it to be insignificant and dead. So you've come to the right place (or at least a halfway decent one) if you want MagicaVoxel resources.

--- My MagicaVoxel Resources ---

These are all the resources for you all in case you want to learn more about MagicaVoxel or to see my work.

MagicaVoxel.

First off, if you like to learn more about MagicaVoxel, please visit: voxel.codeplex.com.

If you want to see posts about MagicaVoxel across social media, visit these links:
Twitter posts on MagicaVoxel

More links may be added in the future in this department.

MagicaVoxel: Blog Material.

These are among the different blog posts where I make mention of MagicaVoxel. Check them out if you haven't already:

"MagicaVoxel" (John's Creative Space)
^ My look at MagicaVoxel.

"My First MagicaVoxel Scene" (John's Creative Space)
^ A look at the first scene I created with MagicaVoxel.

"My Voxel People Set" (John's Creative Space)
^ This post features a set of voxel people I created in MagicaVoxel.

"My 2nd Voxel People Set" (John's Creative Space)
^ After making one voxel people set in MagicaVoxel, I made another set.

3rd set MagicaVoxel voxel people
^ This third set builds upon the second set's model.

I may include more blog posts showcasing my many MagicaVoxel works in edits to this page.

MagicaVoxel: Pictures.

You can find a majority of my MagicaVoxel pictures from my Facebook profile. That album can be looked at here: "My MagicaVoxel Adventures" (my Facebook profile).

And here are some of the different development pictures of mine using MagicaVoxel:

refrigerator
^ This is a voxel model refrigerator I created.

refrigerator with dispenser
^ The is the same refrigerator, but with an ice dispenser.

upright arcade
^ The image you see here is an upright arcade unit. Many of us gamers spent our youth dumping coins into these things.

Coca-Cola Freestyle drink machine
^ This model is my voxel interpretation of the Coca-Cola Freestyle drink machine. To learn more about it, I blogged about this machine in my main blog: Coca-Cola Freestyle Drink Machine (John's Blog Space)

(DISCLAIMER: Coca-Cola is a registered trademark of the Coca-Cola Company.)

MagicaVoxel scene
Here is the first scene attempt I made using MagicaVoxel.

(optional) JUST FOR FUN: What do you think these guys are talking about in this scene? CAPTION THIS! :)

MagicaVoxel voxel people
^ I created all of these human characters in MagicaVoxel. All of them stem from one base model, which is the person on the far left. Sing along, everybody! "We are the world..." :)

^ from: (my Facebook profile page) - The same characters from my first voxel people set were made over with the faceless heads. (ADDED: November 1, 2014)

MagicaVoxel voxel people front
^ Here are all of the characters from the front in a group picture. The base model used in creating these characters is the one on the far left.

MagicaVoxel voxel people rear
^ This is a group view of this character set from the rear. The base model used in creating these characters is the one on the far right.

animation dialogue mock-up sample
^ from (my Facebook profile) - This picture is a mock-up of a sample dialogue that I may implement in making videos.

2nd set MagicaVoxel voxel people
^ This new set features the same body as the previous set of characters. However, unlike the previous set of characters, this set features a new head devoid of facial features.

2nd set MagicaVoxel voxel people front
^ Here are all of the characters in this new set from the front in a group picture. The base model used in creating these characters is the one on the far left.

2nd set MagicaVoxel voxel people rear
^ This is a group view of this character set from the rear. The base model used in creating these characters is the one on the far right.

MagicaVoxel voxel people both sets
^ Both sets of characters in one picture. The latest set is on the bottom in this picture.

MagicaVoxel home scene
^ This is a developmental scene I created featuring a bedroom. This scene features a lot of props I've created.

(optional) JUST FOR FUN: What do you think the male is thinking about or saying about the lady in the blue dress? CAPTION THIS!

MagicaVoxel adults and children
^ This picture is a development picture of making children. The kid models are based on the "adult" models. They were included for comparison.

This page may or may not be edited in the future. I do still thank you for visiting both my blog and this page.
